As the managing partner of Sterling Law Offices, S.C., attorney Jeff Hughes has used his lifelong passion for leadership development and helping others to shape his practice.
Hughes earned a B.A. in history from Bob Jones University in 1994 and his J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1997. That same year, he also became a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin. Prior to establishing Sterling Law Offices, Hughes served as a litigation attorney at another Wisconsin law firm.
Hughes' responsibilities include serving the attorneys and support staff as well as interacting with clients to solve their legal problems. Practicing in the areas of divorce, child custody and child support law, he was included in the Milwaukee Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 list in 2012.
The law firm has also been the winner of numerous awards, including the Inc. 5000’s Fastest Growing Company list in 2010 and 2011, as well as the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 2015 Top Places to Work award.
